Lecture series Roots and Critics

Roots & Critique is a multilingual learning community. The basis of this community will be reflection, dialogue and participation.
During 8 lessons we focus on the work of two interesting thinkers: the Brazilian pedagogue Paulo Freire and Afro-American feminist bell hooks. The main topic is critical consciousness. Philosopher Bleri Lleshi will introduce the two thinkers and enable the dialogue. A group of 25 participants will be able to follow the lessons. Critical reflection and participation of participants are essential during these lessons.
The lessons are open to everyone. We encourage in particular Brussels youth to participate.
Only 25 participants will be selected. It is important to be able to attend all lessons. Register by sending a short motivation (in English, Dutch or French) why do you want to attend these lessons. Register by sending an email to rootscritique@gmail.com
