Celebrate the Asian new year in Ixelles!

The Vietnamese-Chinese New Year (Têt) is the most important event of the year for the Asian Community. Spring is traditionally ushered in by the Asian New Year. 2014 shall be the Year of the Horse, the horoscope signifying success. The show will be a mix of traditional and comtemporary dance and music, folklore, pop, as well as artistic live performances. From 3 pm onwards, there will be a small market with a tasting of culinary specialties from South-East Asia, a performance of the Dance of the Dragon, artistic animations, karaoke... At 4 pm and 6.30pm, the Têt-show will take place (2 performances). On this year's program: the artistic collective Truong Son, t.r.a.n.s.i.t.s.c.a.p.e, Matthieu Ha, Alek et les Japonaises and a special guest from Vietnam, the popular singer Vy Oanh.
